How is this different from working with an architect?Salvage Bureau works before design begins. We focus on early decisions about whether to retain, reuse or rebuild, and what each path means in terms of cost, complexity and outcome. In addition to pre-design services, we offer architectural services to a limited number of projects to pilot reuse.
When should I engage Salvage Bureau?Ideally at the very beginning of a project, which could be before purchasing a property. Early advice can avoid unnecessary demolition, reduce cost and lead to more considered project outcomes.
